Membership Types & Fee Structure

All Membership

All membership fees (Junior, Lifeguard / Patrol Support, Associate and Social) are paid annually to Ruakākā Surf Lifesaving Patrol and are for the current season which is 1 July - 30 June each year.

Note: For payments from 1st December 2026, please add an additional $10.

2026-2027 Junior Membership

Requirements

  • Junior Membership is for children aged 3-13 years.

  • Children must be at least 3 years of age before 1 October in the year of the commencement of the season.

  • All Junior Memberships require at least one parent or guardian to stay at trainings, including at the beach at the Sunday Sessions.

Junior Fees

  • Family 1 - 1 child and adult(s) membership

    • A family Membership includes all juniors, seniors, lifeguards and parents/caregivers - $120

  • Family 2 - 2 children and adult(s) membership

    • A family Membership includes all juniors, seniors, lifeguards and parents/caregivers - $150

  • Family 3 - 3 or more children and adult(s) membership

    • A family Membership includes all juniors, seniors, lifeguards and parents/caregivers - $170

  • Junior Surf - Board Maintenance Fee

    • For Children wanting to use kneeboards U10 group upwards - $25 per child

2026-2027 Senior Membership

Requirements

  • Senior Membership is for members 14 years and over.

Senior Fees

  • Lifeguard/Patrol Support membership - $55

2026-2027 Associate Membership

Associate Membership is for anyone who has an interest in being a part of the Club. Does not include patrolling, training, competing or voting rights

Fees

  • Associate / Social Member membership - $70

How to Join Ruakākā Surf Life Saving Club

This year (2026) we have started using Friendly Manager membership system for all registrations and membership payments.

Who needs to register?

  • Patrolling members

  • Coaches

  • Junior Surf members

  • Associate members

  • Parents and caregivers

  • All other club members

How to Join

  1. Complete the registration form through the Ruakaka SLSP Friendly Manager Form

  2. Once registered, a Friendly Manager profile will be created for you in the system.

  3. You will receive an email with instructions to set your password and access your account. It will include an invoice for the club fees, if relevant.

  4. Pay your membership fees online.

Important Information

  • You can register multiple family members in a single application (for example, several children in Junior Surf).

  • Parents who are not lifeguards or patrol support members should select Associate Member.

  • For the 2026/2027 season, all members should select "New to Ruakākā Surf Lifesaving Patrol" when registering, as this is the first season using the Friendly Manager system.
